In the company of women: Mary Helen

Mary Helen Bowers is one of the most sought-after names in fitness today. After dancing with the prestigious New York City Ballet for a decade, Mary Helen wanted a way to maintain her physique in a way that was not only challenging but also emotionally fulfilling. With that in mind, she created Ballet beautiful, a program devised to give women the grace, strength, and endurance of a professional ballerina by using highly targeted and repetitive moves. a busy woman.

After training Natalie Portman for her Oscar-winning role in the 2010 film Black Swan, Mary Helen and the Ballet Beautiful program gained a cultlike following, and Bowers launched a series of DVDs, interactive online classes, and wildly popular live streaming videos to keep up with her clients anywhere in the world. Bowers's SoHo studio is a favorite of celebrities, models, fashion editors and busy New York City moms who crave a unique fitness experience that involves no grunting, minimal sweating and lots of pirouettes.

Mary Helen's private client list includes some of today's most inspiring celebrities such as Liv Tyler, Zooey Deschanel, Heyley Williams, and Alexa Chung; supermodels Miranda Kerr and Carolyn Murphy; and Victori'as Secret Angels Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge and Doutzen Kroes, among others.

It's not easy balancing the life of an entrepreneur with being a wife and a mom. However, Mary Helen handles it all with such grace and aplomb. Her outlook on life and her sensibility are both infectious and calming. We love Mary Helen and we know you will too.
